Last week I went to Tonkotsu, an attempt at an authentic take on the classic Japanese staple of ramen.
To celebrate it’s opening, the restaurant was offering everything at half-price! Being the cheapskate that I am, I couldn’t resist. Luckily I had a friend willing to join me to try it out, it’s tucked away in Soho and has two floors.
There is a small selection on the menu but I sort of think that’s in keeping with the tradition of keeping ramen simple. I had some green tea and chicken karage along with my main dish of ‘Tokyo Spicy’. My mouth is watering just at the thought of it, I’ll definitely be going back so maybe see you there?
