Sony just announced the PlayStation 3 Slim at GamesCon 2009 in Germany today, it arrives in the first week of September for $299 and however many english monies that equates to for us Brits (UPDATE: £249.99). With this news I might finally be able to pick up Metal Gear Solid 4.
