If you’re a fan of Japanese cinema, you’re bound to have come across Midnight Eye at some point. Every year the editors of the site put together a list of what they consider to be the best films of the year, I tend to use this as a guideline of films to try and watch.

Spanish designer Hexagonal, has created a project of distilling film posters to their fundamental elements. Some of them are absolutely brilliant, unsurprisingly I’m quite a fan of his adaptation of Akira. I leave you with a selection of his work below.
