I picked up a pair of Sony Bluetooth Headphones (DR-BT22 for it’s Scientific nomenclature) for my iPod Photo, after discovering them on sale for a great price. I thought they’d be perfect for me as I listen to a lot of Podcasts whilst going about my day to day activities (saving the world, writing hit records, staring in award winning films, that sort of thing) and often find the wires getting caught up and hooking onto door handles or onto my bag or whatever it might be whilst ummm…saving the world.
Unfortunately by the time they arrived I’d accidentally destroyed my iPod Photo so they’ve been quietly sitting in a drawer unused. That is until the arrival of my iPhone. I’d lost the instructions for setting the headphones up but managed to get the devices working together seamlessly. I’d heard a lot about the sound quality of Bluetooth Headphones to be very disappointing but for listening to Podcasts they’re perfect.
It’s made a real difference to be free from carrying my iPhone around and walking around the house with audio filtering into my ears from whichever room I happen to be in. It almost feels like magic, I’d highly recommend them to anyone who would appreciate the convenience of wireless audio. Saying that I suppose you could always listen to your audio on the iPhone using the loudspeaker but why do things the easy way?
