Last week I’d arranged to meet Tara to go watch a film with her, which was made all the cheaper with Student Bean vouchers for Cineworld. Unfortanately I ended up over 40 minutes late and to make matters worse I’d ordered the wrong tickets! So I wasn’t off to the best of starts.
We hadn’t quite decided on a film, but she was keen on Orphan which also saved me from having to endure The Ugly Truth. Although having said that, my verdict isn’t particularly favourable. It lacked any real suspense and the twist was laughable. There was a lot of laughter in the auditorium at the bizarre on screen action, which probably says much about it’s potency for scares. Anyway I’d avoid it if I were you.
