I’m surprised to learn from Digital Spy of all places that Nintendo have regularly hosted a virtual Hanabi Festival, whereby they allow us an opportunity to pick up games that were never released over here. This July sees the fourth festival since the Wii’s Virtual Console debute.
Of particular note for me is the release of Ogre Battle: March Of The Black Queen, created by Yasumi Matsuno who went on to create Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story and Final Fantasy XII. More recently it transpires that he was credited as the story developer on Platinum Games Mad World.
