I’m a little late to the party but starting last week, Film4 have been showcasing a season called ‘New Asian Cinema‘ which ends later this week.
Like usual with these things being a fan of world cinema, I’ve already watched a few of the films before including; House Of Flying Daggers, I’m A Cyborg But That’s Okay and Tokyo Sonata which I saw most recently.
The remaining films to be shown include:
Memories Of Matsuko (11:15PM Monday, 16th November)
House Of Flying Daggers (11:00PM Tuesday, 17th November)
Tokyo Sonata (10:40PM Wednesday, 18th November)
If you don’t have a television but do have a computer you could try and catch these films online using the free TVCatchup service, which I might take advantage of. Hopefully they’ll repeat some of films that I missed later on at some point. Anyway don’t say I didn’t tell you!
