I’ve been listening to Phrazes For The Young pretty much on loop for the last few days. This is the first solo effort by Julian Casablancas, the lead singer from the critically acclaimed, The Strokes. Along with this, another Julian (a pseudonym for Paul Banks) from another phenomenal New York band, Interpol also released his own individual album titled Julian Plenti Is…Skyscraper. So there you go kids, two album recommendations to pop onto your iPods!
